Bucket-wheel excavator and spreader working an open-pit lignite face

Mining · Power · Manufacturing · Railway

Keeping heavy industry running.

We find the part. Or we make it.

01 / 03

One system, end to end

From the cut to the grid.

Coal is cut, spread, carried and burned by four machines that never stop. ARB supplies wear parts, drive components and spares at every stage of that chain.

Reverse engineering

When the part no longer exists

Some parts went out of production decades before the machine did. We measure the worn one and have it made again.

  1. Engineer modelling a worn casting from measurements, drawing beside the 3D model
    01

    Measure

The installed part is measured and rebuilt in CAD.

  2. Production drawing of a gall chain pin wheel with exploded assembly and parts list
    02

    Draw

Dimensions, tolerances and materials, ready to quote.

  3. Finished gall chain pin wheel with machined teeth and painted web
    03

    Make

Cast, machined and delivered ready to fit.
